Architecture, location, room size.

We were called the day before by a rep who said there would be no breakfast service on Christmas morning, so we planned ahead and brought our own food. We were going to make coffee with the in-room coffee maker, but when we went to use it, it was missing the tray that holds the coffee pouch, so we were not able to use it. Upon vacating the premises we told housekeeping about the issue. She said she did put out the breakfast service, but that we missed it. Staff needs to communicate better with each other and then clearly translate accurate info to guests. We stayed in the same room we’d been in 2 years previously and found that nothing had been updated. The rug was quite worn and had some food crumbs from previous guests. The tv and bathroom fan were in poor condition. The toilet needs to be reset or have floor bolts tightened as it’s somewhat rocky.
