Very clean , friendly staff and easy access to the board walk

Hotel was nice, location is excellent, it’s a block off the boardwalk and has great access to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are fairly modern, have been updated recently, but there are some areas that can still use some help. The balcony lights suck!!!!! They are very bright, be nice if they had a light switch to turn them off. I would advise taking some black tape to put over them if you like it dark at night. The pool is fairly small, but we don’t really use the pool when at the beach. The parking is tight, we had a car and it fit ok, but it would be a struggle with a big SUV or truck. Overall, I would stay here again.

Difficulty crossing the street to get to the beach due to high volume traffic.

Liked the spacious room. Liked the patio, however, it’s unfortunate that the patio light stays on all night. Our blackout curtains didn’t quite cover the windows and the room was lit up while trying to sleep.

Our room had an AWFUL smell when we arrived. We tried airing it out and I sprayed fabreeze throughout. However the smell kept coming back. I also noticed part of the carpet was wet. Then the smell made sense because it was like wet dog/mold smell. After the 2nd night I spoke with the manager and she was so nice and told us they would get it figured out. When we came back later that day they had written us a note and refunded part of that first night's stay. This manager was extremely sweet. Buttttt unfortunately the smell never went completely away. On our last night i received a call in the late afternoon and they asked if they could put a waterproof mattress protector on our bed because apparently the maids complained that the bed was soaked everyday (which is such a lie). This manager i spoke with was EXTREMELY rude, so I told them that they really needed to do something about the awful smell in the room before they put new guests in there and she had the nerve to tell me that the smell was from the mattress getting wet everyday. I said hmm thats awful funny seeing how that smell was here the second we checked in, and our bed never was wet. So due to this manager and her rudeness and accusations my entire outlook on this hotel changed from okay/good to bad. And its a shame because the first manager was so nice and tried doing everything she could for us and I really appreciated her. Nice thing is the location but unfortunately next year we will stay somewhere else.

The location could not be any better. We have been coming to Ocean City for 40 years and we found this hotel just fantastic! We will be staying here again the next time we come to O.C.
