Gateway Hotel & Suites Ocean City, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The staff was great, check-in was very easy. Location is fantastic. The room had an odd smell, but it’s an old building so to be expected. bed was comfortable. Shower was hot and had great water pressure.

Everyone was super nice and property was clean!

Room and bathroom was clean and neat. Public areas clean. Staff friendly

Carol personally made sure my room was convenient. Contact was easy. Most of the staff were real and pleasant. The location, across the street, from the boardwalk and oceans calling was awesome. Parking was easy. The bus picked up right out front. Everything was clean. Coffee ready at all times in game room. Seating out front was simply nice. If I ever come back to area, I will be staying here. I felt safe at all times.

Unfortunately, it was the last weekend in September and the pool was drained and closed. There was a morning office staff that hard permanent look down on everyone tone. It definitely took me aback considering everyone else was so pleasant. The carpet in the room was aged (clean). It just reminded you of older motel room floor.
