Good place to stay. Good food and drinks especially for vegetarians. Mr. Manohar Rao- Guest Relation Manager quite helpful and accomodating. Just lighting in Dining Area needs to improve.

It was initially a bit difficult to locate the hotel as I was driving down to Hospet,once I reached I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the property - old style large property and the facilities. Rooms are large but slightly old fashioned. There is nice garden in the middle of the semi-circular block. The a/c restaurant serves multi-cuisine, is spacious and overlooks the pool. The north indian food is average and the chinese food is also average, nothing great but not terribly bad either. Vast parking area. Staff are polite and attentive. However the vegetarian restaurant is small and always crowded, impossible to get any room in the evenings, and no priority is given to hotel guests. Hotel appears to be very popular with local people and the wedding halls were completely full on both the days I was there, with back-to-back functions. The travel desk was efficient and helpful.

Good hotel. Power issues but came back on very quickly. Good bar and restaurant.

Special design !Value for money is OK. The restaurant makes you feel you're in Thailand, reasonably priced. Instead of expanding the hotel needs encouragement for a bit more maintenance and a lick of fresh paint.

We had booked the special delux double room on a 3 sharing. The room was big enough to add another cot and still be spacious. Overall service was very good although we did have to remind the housekeeping the first day that we ere 3 of us in the room and accordingly needed the toiletries to be of the same number. The bedding was very comfortable especially after the long treks at Hampi the enitire day. Very clean and spacious bathrooms too. They have a restaurant opposite to the hotel within the same complex and also a small eating area within the hotel.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Zimmer war groß und kürzlich renoviert, das Bad eher nicht. Nach indischen Maßstäben war die Sauberkeit ok. Gutes Restaurant.

We visited Hospet-Hampi over the Feb. 22-23 weekend as a group of six. Hotel Malligi was a bit of a surprise. It offered us better choices and rooms than we had expected. The food was good from an Indian perspective of tasty food. The rooms and common spaces were done well and clean. If they train their staff well on how to communicate in English and Hindi, this hotel would become even more popular with travellers.

This was the hotel's most outstanding feature. Also a pleasant surprise to find a large pool in a hotel in this price category. Two excellent restaurants, as well as a bar with good food on offer. All in all, very good value for money.

The hotel was reasonably comfortable with good amenities. The room was nice sized and came with a fridge. The beds were rather spartan and we could clearly hear the TV from the adjacent room. The alternative accomodations looked either not acceptable or much higher priced. The attached dining options were convenient and had decent food at reasonable prices.
