Alcohol from outside is not permitted at Olde Bangalore. We do however have a fully-stocked Bar. Please note that Olde Bangalore is a nonsmoking resort. We have designated smoking spaces and the consumption of tobacco is permitted only in these spaces. As a part of standard policy, we do not allow use of the swimming pool in T-shirts, Bermudas and shorts for men and women. The guests are requested to carry their swimming costumes. The same can, however, be bought from us on a chargeable basis. Room service is not available at the Olde Bangalore Resort because of the tented accommodations. The aromas tend to linger on the fabric and spilled-over foods attract all kinds of unwelcome pests like cockroaches and rodents Check-in: 12 noon & Check-out: 11 am Kindly provide government ID card (like Adhaar Card, Voter Id, Passport or Driving License) for smooth check in. Drinking in tents and premises is strictly prohibited.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

"Would recommend this on any level… steer clear."

Location is near the airport… that is the only positive.

Where to start.. the room has notes on rats and cockroaches, it was damp, the bed linen dirty. We checked in, payed then advised it was not up to scratch as it was dirty so left and have not received a refund despite chasing?

The Rooms were maintained exceptionally clean,the buffet which was arranged for the breakfast was too good with wide range of varieties

Friendly staff

Noisy. Everyone sleeps in tents. Noise from Bengaluru Airport, Divali fireworks, weddings/parties & traffic. Rather old looking resort. - needs a good refurb,

"‘Budget’ Luxury tent stay @ BLR"

Absolutely loved the hospitality. Location is also perfect well outside the city but still in close proximity to KIAL. It’s less than 15 mins away from the airport making transit super easy. We loved the luxury tents, it’s furnishing, sound insulation was a little lower as in we could hear people talking loudly in the adjacent tent (no complaints though since it is a tent with no solid wall in the room portion. We loved that it was a non-smoking property too. The pool looked amazing, which we didn’t use since it was raining throughout our very short stay. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious. I will definitely recommend the property for people looking for a staycation at Bangalore and for travellers alike.

"A good stay in nature and greenery"

The property looked quaint and loved the greenery and space. We also had dinner and drinks and it was pretty good. The have lot of space for group activities. Their pool looked good even though we didn't use. The staff were all very good, helpful and cheerful.

While the tents were nice, it felt dingy for 2 reasons. The decor seemed very old and worn out. And when we switch on the AC all the little windows were closed so there was absolutely no natural light. It would be nice if they actually had bigger windows with transparent plastic that we could get some natural light in with the option of shuttering it when privacy is required. Also, the breakfast was quite average and limited for the price point.
