Clarks Khajuraho

Great hotel well located just outside of the centre of town. Very helpful staff, if a little overpowering at times. Nice breakfast, great to have cycles at the hotel for use & awesome pool.

This a lovely hotel with its peaceful surrounds and old world ambience. I did speak to the Hotel manager, who is an absolute asset for the Clarkes group, regarding how nice it would be to see more women staff ( I was a sole female traveller) and how apart from the sole female reception member I found the men at reception very sombre . I am sure these comments are in the best of hands and was able to understand through our discussion, cultural and other issues relevant to my queries as well. I cannot speak highly enough about the room service and cleaning staff who were absolutely lovely and this was great as I was recovering from an illness

Después de varios días de viajar por India nos sorprendió la falta de atención y servicio en este hotel. Parece que nos estaba haciendo el favor cada que pedíamos cualquier cosa. Muy por debajo de los estándares que hemos esperado y el hotel no es barato. Nos cambiamos de hotel, aún hostal y mucho mejor!

Very nice hotel with nice pool, spa, fitness center, ... We were very happy to stay there. Definitely the best hotel during our visit to India.

Hotel clarks offers excellent facilties.Its fully equipped with gymnasium,badminton,lawn tennis court.Quality of the food was not that great.Atleast not to my taste.They were more inclined to serve foreign visitors during breakfast,lunch and dinner.May be they have more foreign visitors , must be the reason.AC used to get stop on its ownduring our stay.We had to call the reception atleast 6-7 times to remind them about the AC.Overall I enjoyed the stay at Hotel Clarks.

Ubicado en las afueras de un lugar pequeno, cuartos muy comodos, unico problema es que la ventana es fija y habia diferencia grande de temperatura interior exterior. Gran jardin y piscina.

The place was comfy and only about 10 min walk from the airport. You can walk to town in about 30-40min. The food wass the only real let down, it was decidedly average at best.

The experience at this well maintained hotel was great from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. We originally booked for two nights but arrived a day early and asked if we could check in for an extra night, they were most welcoming and gave us the extra night at the discounted rate we had booked through expedia. The location is within walking distance of the Western group of temples and if you like walking the other temples can also be reached by foot. The hotel itself is clean, efficient and staff are attentive without being overbearing. The lobby is spacious and beautifully set out, the pool and outdoor seating a pleasure to be in after a long day walking around the temples, there is a running track, tennis court and the grounds have a vegetable and herb garden that you can walk around. There is also a spa and several treatments on offer. Though when I tried to book a facial there was no therapist available so it would be useful if the hotel were to say how far in advance these need to be booked, the impression was that these are available as needed. A great experience overall with high level of cleanliness and efficiency.
