Aleenta Phuket - Phang Nga - The Leading Hotels of the World

Very nice hotel and we liked the room with pool. Our highlight was the equipped beach and the service offered there by the team of staff, always kind, smiling and helpful. The beach restaurant is pleasant, breakfast is the best. The menu is nothing special and the service is always kind and smiling but quite slow.

You have to know the hotel has the second part of the area behind the road (street). I haven’t been to Aleenta for a long time and it was a bad surprise for me. It looks like you live in one hotel and go to breakfast, swimming pool, fitness, restaurants to other hotel. There is no information about this. The food at dinner was not tasty. I ordered Tom Yam and som tum, don’t order this. I expected something different, food on the street is much cheaper and tastier. Villa (grand deluxe pool) was nice, no questions. The place is really wonderful. Another thing with the credit card. when you check in, they take your card, go to another room, and say that this is your guarantee. That’s not only authorization, they make a copy of your card and what they will do with it and who they will give it to is unclear. I don't know what to think

Grand Deluxe Pool Villa - 7 nights. We were arriving a day late due to bad weather flight cancellations, I informed the hotel and they credited the day rate for the missed day to our account which we used for meals and drinks, a nice little unexpected bonus. We had done our research and knew the hotel location was isolated and the pool villa we booked was across the road from the main buildings, so no surprises there. The pool villa was excellent and in great condition, we also thought the restaurant was good value for money. The have great drinks happy hour and the guys on the beach make sure you get served promptly, as well as supplying you with iced water all day on the beach. The beach is one of the best beaches we have come across in our travels, great for long beach walks and great sea conditions. Although quiet we have a great stay.

The rooms are amazing, spacious and private. The beach is secluded and quiet. The staff , especially Gary and Focus were brilliant.

I don’t think the price justifies the stay, for £500+ per night I expected better cuisine and elevated luxury. The food was very average. At this price point I also believe buffets should be banned. The pool by my room could have been cleaned - lots of dead things floating on the surface.

This is the perfect place to unwind and spend a whole day staring at the beach. It's ideal for couples, offering a nice, quiet atmosphere that feels remote yet inviting. I loved the yoga sessions and the beachfront restaurant—definitely great value for money!

Mosquitoes in our room and around the pool area. I got terribly bitten. They need to fumigate the whole of the Villa.

I had high expectations for this resort, given its affiliation with The Leading Hotels of the World, but unfortunately, the service fell short. Upon check-in, the staff seemed confused and struggled to assign our party of five to the correct rooms. The resort itself is stunning—beautifully maintained grounds, spacious rooms, and a serene beachfront location. The spa was outstanding—hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. However, the service left much to be desired. Dining at The Edge was mediocre—the food was decent but not memorable, and service was painfully slow. Room service was a disaster, taking over an hour to arrive and frequently arriving incorrect or incomplete. At checkout, there was no assistance with our luggage, which was surprising for a luxury resort. The saving grace was the resort manager, Kanchalika Meesuk, who genuinely listened to our concerns and acknowledged the shortcomings at checkout. While I appreciate his attentiveness, I hope the resort takes meaningful steps to improve staff training, food quality, order accuracy, and service efficiency. For the price and reputation, I expected far better. If these issues are addressed, this resort has the potential to truly live up to its “Leading Hotels” status.
