Travel Inn Hazen

We've stayed 2x's at this motel. Exceptional staff & rooms. The Mexican restaurant next door " El Amigo " has excellent food. Love's Gass/diesel fuel is across the street.

The only thing I like is the fact that it's right off the freeway and by the gas stations. There is also a Mexican restaurant right there. There is also a pond/lake in the back with a deck you can walk through.

They charged me a fee for my E.S.A. animal, which they're not supposed to do, but the clerk argued with me that E.S.A. animals are supposed to be charged a fee. The room was not very clean and the cracks in the bathroom floor were leaking what smelled like sewer water and the only thing they did to fix this issue was come mop instead of offering a different room. There was no hand soap and the guests there were extremely loud all through the night. When I went outside the next morning there were beer bottles and trash everywhere. The walls were very dirty and there were spider webs in the corners of the bathroom.

No one cleaned my husbands room and if they did the one time the bed was half made no trash was taken out it was terrible

The owner was understanding but unfriendly. The hotel was dirty and i mean dirty. We didnt use the bathroom for shower.

Exterior was very rough looking or uninviting and there was a very foul smell at check in counter which was TINY

Inexpensive

It was okay.
