Rooms a bit all over the place

We got a very warm welcome from Roisin at reception. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately our room was not what i expected small and very dark 😕. Not quite the romantic getaway we had wanted .

I was very dissapointed when i went to the readturant ..the carpet was dirty at th table I sat . Crumbs and food on th carpet . The food itself was not upto satisfaction . I ordered garlic mushrooms and sea bass fr my main course ..very disapointed . My window in the room was coated ..left me feeling very claustrophobic. Not a nyc experience intotal .Will not be going again . Not worth experience for the price . The price didnot include breakfast either ..

The gardens, how friendly the staff were,the food.. just an overall great experience. Will definitely be back

I was very dissatisfied with the Waitress staff on two separate occasions. First at evening meal, where I ordered Gravy on the side and it came all over my dinner. Also ordered Ice cream for dessert, but this also arrived with a large blob of cream I didn't want. At dinner on evening two. The waitress placed my gravy boat down on table and then moved it with her thumb on open spout. Very unhygienic. She also yawned loudly while I ordered a drink from her. I have limited capacity for food and find it extremely annoying when I don't get what I I have ordered. Too much is just as bad as too little. Please advise your staff to LISTEN. Having to compose an email for feedback is also time consuming and frustrating. I had to reactivate my room key at reception after using the Spa area. This was both inconvenient and embarrassing as I was in my robe and Slippers. The location of Spa is not ideal when one is staying in Hotel. I was booked and paid up on check-in for two nights so didn't understand why my key card had to be reactivated after one night.......
