"Disappointed"

Had nice grounds, paradise like garden/surroundings.

As a 5 star hotel, was lacking in facilities of other 5 star hotel, staff in general were friendly and polite, but seemed clueless and unsure of how to provide proper service. Maybe it could have been due to not being able to converse well in English, but this is not an excuse for a 5 star hotel resort. For example, provision of wine glasses is the standard in all 5 star hotels (even 4 star hotels) but at Sears, there is a charge of KRW 5000 for wine glasses. In addition, in a 5 start hotel, serving Italian food in Italian restaurant, unlimited amount bread is served during dinner. At Seaes Hotel, they provide 2 small slices. if you request for more, they will charge for the extra slices. Worst of all, we were halfway through the 4 extra slices of bread ordered and being charge for and the waitress wanted to take the bread away after we finished our starters. We understand that the hotel has a long history of being favoured as “the place” to go to for wedding dinners and also due to popularity of shooting some “K-dramas” on the hotel grounds in previous years, however it doesn’t live up to it’s 5 star rating and we for one will not be recommending this hotel to our friends. For our next visit to Jeju, we will choose to stay at The Shilla, which is next door or Parnas Hotel (also close by) instead.

The outdoor igarden s really nice. Good breakfast.

1. No space smallest room ever. 2. Service poor.need to ask any day for soap .3. No hot water need to ask to heat. 4. In front corrier light sensor was up anytime we went bsthroom at night. 5. No electricity point. Need to have extender from toilet . 6. No lamp. Need to adk. And install with extender.Crazzy room! Very expensive. Very poor room. Not suitable. We felt as a youth camp not 5 star hotel .
