"Our overall stay was great, just be aware that if you have tattoos, you cannot use the onsen."

The room was very comfortable (even just the standard room) with a beautiful view on the forest. You can do laundry for free. There is a free shuttle bus to Onuma park. Commodities in general were great.

This hotel is NOT tattoo friendly. There an amazing onsen (according to my dad) that they promote on their website but it doesn’t say anything about tattoos. It is only after you book and get there that there are no tattoos signs everywhere in the hotel. I’m completely fine with respecting the culture but I wish the rules were explicitly given. I booked this hotel specifically for the outdoor onsen but couldn’t use it in the end. If I knew, I would have booked somewhere else.
