Nichinan Kaigan Nango Prince Hotel

Presents as very new. The ocean side view is very pleasant, which you pay more for, as opposed the road side which is pretty average. Very nice common areas and staff are great.

Excellent sea side view from the room. Not crowded. Outdoor onsen.

Amazing view and good sized room. The Onsen is really good with probably the best view you'll get from a public bath.

Currently being renovated with scaffolding on the exterior of the building. The food options were also limited as it was a set menu and quite expensive. A quick dash to the local supermarket fixed that.

There were three of us. Each of us received a ¥2,000 coupon upon arrival. We spent it on food in that region. Also our room was super nice, we had an ocean view huge window and a small balcony. We really enjoyed our stay there.

It was hard for us to find around there restaurants at night. Maybe because we were there during holiday season. And we could only use the coupons at limited shops and restaurants.

The location was great and the scenery from the window of the room was great. The room was very spacious with sofa and the table. also could open the door to go to the little balcony. Since we could open the door with a fly screen, we could enjoy the sound of the waves which was very peaceful. The public bath was great, it's half outside so we could hear the sound of the waves and could see the stars while bathing in the big bath. Very kind staff. Car parking access was excellent. If you are prepared to wake up very early you can see the sunrise.

The mattress of the bed was too hard for us, couldn't relax. The toilet in the room was clean but very old toilet which is a bit hard to flush, sometimes needed to press the flush button few times.

BEAUTIFUL ocean view! The room was massive! Definitely not like a business hotel. Breakfast buffet or dining at the hotel is extra / an add-on. You would have to drive out 10-15mins if you want to eat elsewhere. The facilities is much older so bare in mind for that. Otherwise the staff is nice. They accept credit card payments. I really like their "library" afternoon tea where you can grab a cup of coffee / tea with an ocean view; it's also where you dine for breakfast / dinner area.

The yukata is "one size fits all"; so it may look too big or too small on you. Given that the hotel is old and by the beach, there is a briny, ocean smell in the hallways which can be unpleasant at times when you walk thru the hallways.
