ホテルは海の目の前に位置していて、水平線が綺麗に見え、海が綺麗、このロケーションはどこにもない贅沢感です。周りも自然だけなので、のんびり過ごせるのが良かったです。温泉もあり、夕食はコース料理をいただき大変おいしくいただきました。フロントのスタッフさんは日本人、ネパール人共に進撃に対応してくださいましたし、無料シャトルの運転手さんも大変気さくでした。お部屋は綺麗に清掃されていて快適でした。冷蔵庫にお水とお茶も無料でありましたし、寝具の質も良かったです。設備の高級感を期待する方は適さないです。The hotel is located right on the water’s edge, offering a beautiful view of the horizon and the ocean—a truly unique and luxurious setting. Since the surroundings are completely natural, it was wonderful to be able to relax and unwind. There is also a hot spring, and we enjoyed a delicious course dinner. The front desk staff—both Japanese and Nepali—were very attentive, and the driver of the free shuttle was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There was free water and tea in the refrigerator, and the bedding was of good quality. However, this hotel may not be suitable for those expecting high-end amenities.

大変古くから運営をされているプリンス系のホテルで、海の目の前なので、潮風の影響を受けているので建物自体は老朽化が目立ちますが、運営管理はきちんとされているように見受けました。　お部屋の化粧室の段差が気になりましたのでそこがフラットになれば高齢者のお客様も増えるのではと思いました。　あと、お食事のお値段が高めの設定だなと思いました。お食事の予算がある方は、下田駅前などのレストランでお食事が良いと思います。　This is a long-established Prince Hotel located right on the waterfront. While the building itself shows noticeable signs of aging due to the sea breeze, it appears to be well-maintained. I noticed a step in the bathroom of the room, and I thought that if that were made level, it might attract more elderly guests. Also, I felt that the prices for meals were on the high side. For those on a budget, I recommend dining at restaurants near Shimoda Station instead.
