Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa

Un véritable coup de cœur à Da Lat. Situé à proximité immédiate du centre-ville tout en étant parfaitement au calme, l’établissement offre un équilibre idéal entre accessibilité et sérénité. On profite facilement de la ville, puis on retrouve le silence et la verdure en rentrant au resort, ce qui est particulièrement appréciable. Les maisonnettes, dans un esprit de complexe hôtelier haut de gamme, sont magnifiques, spacieuses et très bien équipées. On s’y sent immédiatement à l’aise, avec un vrai confort et beaucoup de charme. La piscine est splendide, parfaitement entretenue, et la salle de sport est complète et agréable. Le petit déjeuner est royal, avec un large choix continental et vietnamien, généreux et de grande qualité. Le restaurant propose également une très belle carte, variée et raffinée. Enfin, un immense merci au personnel, attentif et aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Leur gentillesse et leurs délicates attentions ont largement contribué à rendre notre expérience encore plus mémorable. Nous repartons ravis et reviendrons sans hésiter.

The complex is like a park - nice and picturesque to stroll around, with lots of villas. You can see how they aim to preserve the heritage of those villas. The restaurant's food is superb and there is a pool and a spa. There are carts moving you and your stuff from the villa to reception at check in and check out - a nice touch, though it's not too necessary as it's a relatively short walk. Very comfy rooms - great bathtubs, take advantage! The whole complex is very chill and relaxing - a great place to unwind - if you prefer to be out and about town, better choose a more central location just to sleep in.

Probably I didn't read the fine print but was expecting a whole villa while each villa has a few rooms - you just get a room (unless you rent a whole villa of course). Still, the room was great. Also - as some of the other reviews mention, from the east-side villas that border the town you can hear distant music/karaoke until quiet hours hit at 10 pm.

Location is excellent nestled amid the hillslopes. Tranquil ,scenic setting. We had a villa studio that's spacious;furniture a bit dated but it has the feel of old French colonial villas; amenities were fine though, only that the modern heater in the room was too small( single digit temperatures at night). Kept very clean. Quiet & calm. Lovely place to spend a restful holiday. Service was excellent; very helpful staff. Generous spread at breakfast. Good recommendation by agent LUX TRAVEL DMC in Hanoi.

Good points Location is very good. Villa rooms are well appointed and sizeable. Hotel restaurant serves both western and Asian dishes of high quality. Yoga class high standard – alas, only Friday, Saturday and Sunday (should be every day in a hotel of this standing) Service from staff is very good. Reception staff very well trained and friendly. Will stop their golf buggies to offer lifts if they see you walking. Breakfast bar is varied and good quality (exception: the fruit offering is less good than other hotels we stayed in). Areas for improvement Sound insulation between rooms is almost non-existent. The bathroom for room 805 appears to be next to the headboard of the bed in room 803 and the sound of water running and people talking woke us up. The coffee-making facilities at breakfast are a joke - completely inadequate. There is one, small, aged Saeco machine that is very slow and a queue quickly forms. The water needs constant refilling and the grounds emptying. Afternoon tea offering is underwhelming, particularly compared to lesser hotels on our tour. Laundry relatively expensive - a number of items came back shrunk and unironed. However, they ironed the pleats out of a skirt. Overall, a bit of a feature of hotel laundry in Vietnam, but for the price we paid, we expected better.

After 3 weeks of travelling in Vietnam we stayed here for 2 nights and wished it had been longer! Perfection!! The communication before we arrived was excellent. The welcoming we had upon arrival was warm, genuine and accompanied by hot ginger and hot flannels. A member of staff drove us to Villa 13 in a little buggy. The grounds were immaculate. Our villa was stunning, with beautiful views across DaLat. Our room was large and gorgeously designed and presented. Stunning dark wooden floors and furniture. A roll top bath. A balcony with terrific views. Our bed was enormous and super comfortable! Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! Our room was serviced daily and when we returned at the end of each day (exploring DaLat) our curtains had been drawn, lamps switched on and a plate of little cookies awaited us. Each morning we walked the short walk through the trees and plants to the restaurant for the best breakfast EVER! In the afternoon there was the option of afternoon tea. We enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool and thoroughly enjoyed a facial and massage in the Spa. The reception staff were so helpful; arranging a city tour, booking us into the Spa and organising a taxi to the airport. I can honestly say that I have never felt more cared for. Every element of our stay was perfect. Thank you to EVERY member of the Ana Mandara team for making our experience so special 🙏

I had a back and shoulder massage and Jo my wife had a facial. Thanh Thao and Thu Thao were utterly amazing. We couldn’t recommend more highly. Such a thoughtful and detailed massage in a tranquil setting. Would love to be able to do this everyday!
