"A very relaxing stay"

A nice and quiet place. The host was welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We would definately stay here again.

"Exceptional"

The manor was truly lovely, we were welcomed warmly and really enjoyed our night there. The room was large and very comfortable, the bed A+++ and it was wonderful to have a bath. Sadly, we had to leave too early to enjoy the breakfast.

It was all good.

"A Peaceful Country Retreat"

A beautiful house in a lovely setting and such a warm welcome from Wendy. The room was large and comfortable and we had a sunken bath in what was a lovely ensuite. The whole house was beautifully decorated and furnished, retaining it's character. The outlook from all the windows was lovely. Breakfast was great; cooked to order and we weren't rushed. We would absolutely recommend it to all our friends.

There weren't any negatives apart from an invasion of ladybirds; apparently they overwinter in the sash windows and the warm weather brought them out. Wendy offered a change of room but we declined. Catching and putting ladybirds out of the window proved quite satisfying!
