Ty Morgans Apartments

Booking confirmed fridge in room& climate control, room had neither. On enquiring was told they couldn't amend the website this is false advertising! Room was nice though & staff friendly. Ate in the"bistro" very disappointing had the "special" pie which was frozen with frozen chips. Breakfast however was fantastic, lovely ingredients well cooked. Would still recommend at £70 per night is good value for money.

Ideal hotel - comfortable and excellent breakfast.

Room in attic had damp on wall inside wardrobe area no draws to put cloths asked to change rooms which they a did. furniture was disappointing poor standard. food good and staff helpful though. wouldn't stay again better places in town

The hotel proved to be a very pleasant experience and we enjoyed our stay there.

not enough staff but mostly polite cold room but with character slow broadband but at least it worked no parking but luckily it was a sunday hotel on main road but could have been more noisy awkward space to hang jackets personnel did not deal with a couple of guests professionally when they got wrong dishes

The staff were all velry friendly. The food and atmosphere was excellent. Would not hesitate in stopping again.

Nice clean comfortable rooms but noisy lorries and chiming clock on the street. Service good, food ok.

Overall impression of the hotel is good but we find our room was cold and as it was a very windy night and it kept us awake due to the level of noise we could hear through the little gaps from the windows hence the room was cold even with the heating on. Don't think this would be a problem if it was a summer night. Also we find that mostly the bedroom itself is nice and fairly spacious but then the bathroom is a let down as my partner can't even stand up right when he uses the toilet

Service and friendliness of staff excellent. Also very good food in bar. Rooms have excellent cleanliness and very good facilities and are very modern and contemporary. Hotel owner Andrew and Bob the barman are both extremely obliging, have time for you, and couldn't do enough for us. Thoroughly enjoyed being there and will stay there again. Only negative points are the very small car park at the rear of the hotel, and room 9 which we were in for one night, is noisy because of the proximity to the road outside and the thickness of the wall insulation which means you can hear people in other rooms, banging doors, etc. Better with a room away from the road side of the hotel. Otherwise a lovely place to stay in a lovely area of Wales. Thanks for a nice stay at Ty Morgans!!
