Beautiful historic inn set in the tranquility of mother nature, across from Pleasant Lake with trails in walking distance. Beautiful grounds with views of the lake from its many tables on a terrace, or if you prefer chairs on the lawn. After an hour long hike, I returned to have a delicious glass of Chardonnay on the terrace while listening to the birds. I was graced with witnessing a majestic blue heron fly by toward the lake...priceless... The room is clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The inn offers sitting rooms, a fireplace, games, books, and a dining area looking out onto the lake...just beautiful, comfortable and serene...

"Nice and Must be a great spot in summer."

The Inn is very nice in a remote and very quiet place, next to a lake. Our room #1 was nice, bed very comfortable, lot of space and a bathroom with bubble bath. Our breakfast facing the lake, warmed by the sun.

Maybe the fact that the restaurant was closed for rework. But we knew about it and the Inn help us make reservation at the Elm, 5 min. from there.

Comfort, cleanliness, charm, staff, service, all was top-notch. My only complaint was that I hoped to enjoy a great cup of coffee in the morning and it was a bit weak. Nothing special.

We visited middle of the winter, so not the busy season at all. There were only a few others staying that weekend. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast, which is included, was really good. A full breakfast with all you could want and more. The rooms were our only slight disappointment. We don't mind a small cozy room, but they are quite small the the bathroom even smaller. We just felt the photos online of the rooms were not very accurate to the actual size. The shower was about 30"x30". The room very tiny. Overall a nice place to stay.
