The location next to Coos Bay boardwalk was nice. Breakfast was basic but fine.

There was no heat in the room. None. When I tried to call to report this I found the phone cord was ripped out of the wall. When we asked for a different room, staff did not seem surprised there was no heat and we were offered a space heater instead. Eventually after asking several times for a room with heat and getting my partner involved with the request, we were moved. In the new room the bathroom door did not shut.

Lots of traffic noise because the hotel is located between two main hiway streets!!!

We checked into our room and immediately noticed a foul odor and fleas flying around. Bugs were flying around the closet, all around the windows, and a couple were crawling on the beds. We requested a room change and were moved to a better room, but then there was no remote for the TV. The bed sheets had long strands of hair in them and we noticed a couple more bugs in the beds the next morning. Front desk staff were helpful and accommodated our request for a room change and found a TV remote, which we appreciated. The property is just dirty and needs major improvement.

Basic, but you get what you pay for

I like that the staff are nice and welcoming.

My neighbor was too noisy.
