Niagara Inn Bed and Breakfast

Yummy breakfast, super easy self check-in, lovely interesting house, great parking, nice hosts.

Les déjeuners comme les jouets pour enfants en plastique, c' était froid. Ils ne changent pas les serviettes, il faut le demander. En nous donnant des serviettes propres, il n'y avait même pas de débarbouillettes. Une chance qu'on s'en ai apporté.

Door locks and balcony

Lack of chat which we'd expect with a B & B - we only saw one man and that was only at breakfast. No greeting, no information.

Ein Haus, das ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen ist (Weihnachtsdekoration im Juli). Sehr höfliche Vermieter, die aber nur zum Frühstück direkt erreichbar sind. Das Zimmer ist prima. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig. Und alles ist ordentlich und entspricht den Bewertungen. Im Zimmer gab es Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher. Im Haus konnten man sich auch einen Kaffee machen.

Das Zimmer hieß „English Garden“. Einen Garten aber gibt es nicht, und das Zimmer liegt im ersten Stock (ohne Balkon). Das Frühstück würde mit großer asiatischer Höflichkeit bereitgestellt. Der Wunsch, vegetarisch zu essen, wurde respektiert. Aber als Alternative zur Würst und den Würstchen gab es keine zusätzlich Scheibe Käse o.Ä. Marmelade oder Butter gab es nicht. In der Unterkunft gab es keine Informationen zu Zielen, Unternehmungen, Busverbindungen etc. Aber das erklärt sich wohl daraus, dass die meisten Bed and Breakfast-Unterkünfte ausdrücklich nur für kurze Aufenthalte bestimmt sind.

Kleines Zimmer

The room was small but cozy, and very clean. The B&B is in an older house with lovely wood flooring and atmosphere, with a pretty garden and quiet location. I enjoyed the breakfasts, which were made individually and presented with care - not a cheap cold buffet here! The wifi was reliable through a couple of professional virtual meetings. I enjoyed my stay and would return in the future!

My room was listed as having a hot tub, but I think there was some language issue at play because staff indicated there was a tub in the bathroom and seemed a little confused when I asked about it. It wasn't a big deal for us, just a minor confusion, but others might want to know.

Location

No staff, no welcome, needs some TLC, breakfast is not that good, bathroom needs deep cleaning, and no A/C on the first level. Because my credit card was expired on charge day, price changed and when up on charge day. Contacted Booking.com but couldn't solve the issue. Not my favorite experience in a B&B.
