It still needs some more updating. A grab rail in the bathroom and a mat in the bath as it was very slippery for safety.

Good location and friendly staff

Very bad mould smells in corridor and bedroom smelled of drains even with window open I couldn’t clear it. Windows dirty with bird mess. Bed was on a 20 degree slope, you fall downhill in the night.

Fabulous breakfast selection.

No lights working in room only table lamps, I had to have a table lamp outside the bathroom to see and it was on the floor. Definitely a hazard. No plug sockets by the bed, bin hadn't been empty as there were still some rubbish in it.

Yes, the room was a bit dated, but it fit the vibe of the town, and it was comfortable and functional. I would stay here again!

The curtains let in a lot of light- bring your eye mask if you want to sleep in. There is a large pipe outside this room that makes noise around 8 am.
