The staff was sensationally helpful at private bank (staff got me in for money exchange; otherwise impossible). Staff set up birdwatching touri in Arfak mnts. From Cissy to hotel manager, very helpful. Hotel attached to only shopping mall in New Guinea with only movie theater in New Guinea (with fabulous Dolby sound)

The location is strategic.

The room and corridor not so clean as three or four star hotel. The staff not all, sometimes did't know the regulation of the hotel and less of the hospitality No sound proof room. The taste of the food and drink in restaurant is fair, not good enough compare with the price.

The hotel is a decent local choice - centrally located, which is important, and it compares favorably with other options in terms of comfort, service, food, and other amenities. The overall service has definitely improved over my past few visits, as it was somewhat spotty in the past.
