Alpenhotel Oberstdorf - ein Rovell Hotel

I loved the countryside the hotel was located, the gym was small but had some good equipment. That was about it.

The hotel is in desperate need of updating. The bar and restaurant had zero personality, old furnishings The breakfast buffet was very average and poorly presented. Had the buffet dinner the first night and was again so poor decided to walk the 20 min to the only restaurant nearby the hotel Apart from the Asian girl at reception, they were quite blunt and spoke very little English. This is a hotel, not just for Germans , hire people that know basic English. The German guy Stefan was particularly aggressive and showed no warmth whatsoever. He grunted each time a question was asked making the situation very uncomfortable. The single room l had was overlooking a car park , not what you want to see when you stay in the mountains. It was poorly furnished, the bed was pushed up against the wall , not what you cooling, a shower curtain that was dirty . There was no curtesy bus into town however they did transfer us to the station at the end of the stay, the only positive l could think of. Even the garden beds around the hotel were full of weeds or just dirt , a broken window leading outside to the spa, it all looked like no attention to detail. We asked for a drink in the bar which was barely serviced, only to be told the staff were at a meeting , and didn’t know how long it would be. Just very poor in every aspect, sorry to say

Wellnessbereich in die Jahre gekommen aber ok.

Frühstücken

Leider war in der ersten Nacht eine Gruppe anwesend die das schlafen unmöglich machte 😢leider war auch das kneippbecken defekt und die Tischtennis abgebaut und dieses Jahr war das Wlan sehr schlecht bis garnicht vorhanden. Trotzdem kommen wir wieder 😉

Gutes Ftühstücks - und Abendbuffet. Schöne große Suite.

Leider räumlich getrennte Zimmer trotz gemeinsamer Buchung. Doppelzimmer 3/4 Stock im Haus ohne Aufzug.

Lage Frühstück

Alles zusammen war 1A. Das Personal absolut nett. Das Zimmer und der Balkon ziemlich groß. Die Toilette mit Waschbecken ist vom Bad getrennt. Das lieben wir. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen hat alles noch übertroffen. Vollste Begeisterung. Der Essenbereich sieht unglaublich gemütlich und sehr gut gestaltet aus. Der Rest des Hauses natürlich auch. Die Betten, getrennt vom Wohnbereich, waren auch super. Wir wären gerne ein paar Tage länger geblieben aber die Arbeit ruft. Die Hotelbar war auch Klasse. Der unterirdische Gang von Haus zu Haus ist auch der Hit. Viele Parkplätze und dazu noch Kostenlos.

Da gibt es gar nichts.
