Homewood Suites Saint Cloud

Location. Room and halls were quiet. Comfy bed. Full size refrigerator so we could empty our cooler. Ice machine on our floor. Very nice to offer free bottle of water for travelers. The breakfasts offered a nice variety each day.

No small bottle of dish soap in room. We wanted to wash out our cooler and had nothing but dishwasher soap in our kitchenette. Our shower door had a broken door handle with a sharp metal edge. We were curious as to why the entire hotel on both 1st and 2nd floors smelled heavily of marijuana. When we inquired about it we were told that the substance is “legal” and commonly smoked outside next to air vents. But the stairwells smelled awful too. Not certain if air freshener in hallways or even available for rooms might be nice for those who don’t use drugs. Some larger pricier hotels have fragrance type fresheners available throughout their hotels I.e. Westin.

All was great. The food was amazing. My only request would be dome dishsoap by the sink. We could also hear others other guests through the bathroom walls/drains.

We liked that the rooms were very comfortable.The king suite was practical and classy. Reasonably priced and the workers at the front desk were friendly.

What a great find! In a much quieter location than other properties we had looked at. We absolutely loved the courtyard area with the grills and basketball court. Breakfast had a lot of tasty options, the rooms were clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. But the best part was the staff. Typically at hotels in this category, we wouldn’t have expected such warm, considerate service, but everyone we encountered seemed genuinely happy to be doing their jobs!

The stay was wonderful, the service was excellen,t the breakfast was amazing and the kitchen help was more than helpful. Thanks to the whole staff you went over and above.. Don’t forget to tip the staff including the kitchen.. :)

Everything was good. I would recommend this hotel.
