First of all, it’s an older 3-star hotel, so expectations should be realistic — this is not a luxury resort. It was probably a very impressive hotel when it was originally built back in the 1980s–1990s. We have traveled a lot around Thailand, so this is an honest and balanced review. We had read many negative reviews before arriving, but honestly, it was not as bad as commented. After upgrading, we stayed in a triple family room with a sea view. The room itself was decent, and the view was excellent — definitely the highlight of the stay. The pool area and the beach were both very nice and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was good for a 3-star hotel — simple, but enough to start the day. The pool bar was fine if you just wanted a beer, although for we ordered drinks and food via Grab. There was also enough of space for parking, which was useful if you have a rental motorbike or car. The location is okay — not too far from everything — but still requires a short walk to reach the more active part of the main street. Another positive point was the staff — they were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel is quite old and definitely needs a major investment and renovation, which shows in the rooms and overall condition. The air conditioning in our original room was very noisy, which is why we upgraded. After that, the room was ok. Cleanliness was mixed — the beds were clean, but if you looked at smaller details, it was clear that a deeper clean would be needed. There were also very few power outlets — only three in the room and one in the bathroom — which can be inconvenient. The fridge was daily stocked with cold bottled water. Additionally, while the location is decent, it’s not directly in the lively area, so you need to walk a bit to reach most popular restaurants, shops, and nightlife.

The pool was lovely, the beds by the pool were upgraded whilst we were there which was much needed. Our room was the only beach front apartment and it was comfortable. Breakfast consisted of all the basics you require.

The staff were very cold and unfriendly in all areas of the resort, except reception. We had no hot water. The showers smelt mouldy . People hogged to pool chairs for an entire day, everyday the same chairs. They would use them for maybe 2 hours the whole day. The pool towels were old and worn.

La chambre spacieuse, lits confortables. Petit déjeuner super /variés/ pour tous les goûts ! L'emplacement de l'hôtel par rapport au "centre ville", l'ambiance de l'hôtel, le personnel très à l'écoute et disponible.

Il manquait de prise dans la chambre, aurait besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement mais rien d'important car nous avons tout de même passer un très bon séjour.
