Water had a very bad smell. The water does not drain from the bath tub. Would never recommend anybody.

The room was very stinky and full of flies when we got there. The back door was left open for our arrival but it let in a ton of flies. Website showed a restaurant attached, no restaurant. Thank god for the food truck next door. Showed a pool, pool was a dump site and not operational. Bought pop from the front counter, it was expired and had to throw it out. Just overall horrible and nothing like the website. Just too tired from a day of driving to deal with it all.

Although maligned on this forum the motel is fine for an overnight stop. The bathroom, the floors (laminate) and bedding are very clean. Roku TV, good reception. Excellent blackout curtain. Air quality not great, but there’s fan and air. Welcoming hosts - friendly couple that run the motel. Simple breakfast items and an excellent mini store in lobby. Excellent poutinerie out back (Dan & Daves). The motel accept pets, we have a small dog, and not many places in the Ste Hyacinthe area seemed to. 10 minute drive to stores and restaurants. Main issue is water is not good and has smell BUT motel is transparent about this with signage and they supply bottled water for you and so if you are aware then no problem. This is a budget stop along the Trans Canada, if you don’t expect the moon then it’s good value.

Pharoah ant infestation (they were in both the bathroom and the main room. Mostly on the floor but I spotted a few on the bed as well), flies in the room, and water that tasted like chlorine and smelled like sulphur. When my partner took a shower the whole room stank like rotten eggs. Would not recommend.

They write swimming pool but this place serve to burn garbage and getting the smoke in your room the hall always smell weed and cigarette and the room too smell cigarette it s write no smoking on each door?? The hot water is black and greasy and the smell of the water stuns all over the room when i washed myself i felt much dirty full of hants they said they accept pets but it s not realy true... honnors had big argue front of me at the office the woman seem always unhappy the office desk is a mess and durty it s not rigth the bar and restaurant are open it s close long time ago and a mess there too smell humidity in the enter when it s raining and i was on barefoot i can feel water under the floor the celling had patches like they got water dammage the reparation was badly executed the blanket have 30 years old with cigarette burn all furniture are 30 years old the price to pay for the room is much more then the value it should be 30$ for one nigth not 100$ it s steeling the customer i never will return at this motel and i discourage anyone to rent a room there

Overall the room was very dated and not maintained well. The TV coverage was poor and WIFI was slow. The room smelled stale.

Not recommended to a couple or family.

If you are just spending one night, and not planning to shower it’s great, can’t beat the location since it’s right off the highway, staff are amazingly friendly and helpful and available 24/7. Bathroom was not cleaned , the bath tub had some… intimate hairs all in it… but all and all I’d stay here again just to crash for a night.

Cigarette burns on the sheets and chairs. External doors could not be opened by our key. Smelt like cigarettes. Bathroom door had duct tape over the bit near the handle like in a spy movie to stop it from locking and trapping you inside. I would not stay here again.

We went for a one-night stay at this hotel. The hotel is close to the highway which is practical. The hotel is generally well maintained and offer clean beddings. The staff/owners were very friendly and attentive to our needs!
