Williamsburg Sampler B & B

I only stayed one night at the Williamsburg Sampler - but I wish I could have stayed more. Ike and Lori create a wonderful atmosphere - great food! great candy bar! great room! I can't wait to go back.

From the location, to the room, to the staff, everything was wonderful. The Williamsburg Sampler surpassed every expectation we had. Staying here made our visit to Colonial Williamsburg that much better! Give them a try and you shan't be disappointed!

The Williamsburg Sampler B&B was perfect in every way. From the unmatched hospitality of Ike and Laurie to the overall character of the house I would recommend a stay there to anyone. The breakfasts Laurie cooked were splendid and the opportunity to talk to Ike about his house and all his treasures was a pleasure. On top of everything the location was perfect leaving you within minutes of all of Williamsburg. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

This is an absolutely fabulous bed and breakfast. We chose it for our honeymoon and could not be happier. The gentleman, Ike, made us feel right at home, escorting us around the house and showing us all the great places we could just "hang out" followed by a tour of our suite and even sat down with us in the sitting area (yes, each suite has it's own living room with fireplace) and told us about the area and many "insider tips" on what to do while we were in town. I can't say enough amazing things about this old-style, historic home. Whether it's the 24 hour coffee dispenser that has high quality beverages like mochas and lattes, or the snack bar with tons of goodies like you're at grandma's house, there wasn't a moment that we were in town that we didn't feel appreciated or comfortable.The bed was a little firm but not bad at all, my husband loved it, actually. The sitting area got a lot of us in the morning with our coffee and in the evening just relaxing after a long day of walking. It's between a 5 and 10 minute drive of EVERYTHING, and a 5 minute walk to William & Mary. We will definitely come back again!

The Williamsburg Sampler was a wonderful venue, close to the historic town center, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious - a buffet with a dozen different options - something for every palette. The bathroom was very clean and well appointed, and the bed was amazing - so comfortable, although my short wife needed a step stool to get into it.

Comfortable rooms. Private baths. Excellent food. Friendly helpful staff. Interesting collections and decor throughout the house. Very close to the college and Colonial Williamsburg.

Breakfast was great. Hospitality was great. FFelt very welcome and at home.
