Daegu Grand Hotel

一歳児連れての宿泊でオンドルルームがあるので選びました。立地もよく部屋も予想通りでしたが、お風呂の毛が不快でした。日本語のできるスタッフは一人を除きとても親切で好感がもてました。次回も利用するかは検討します。

Good

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The only downside is that you can't control the temperature in your room, and they keep the rooms HOT. Our room was over 79 degrees. You can't even open the window to get fresh air. :( I love the hotel otherwise.

The hotel lobby gives better impression than what the hotel is.  The room had bad smell on arrival, furniture is tired and the carpet and bathroom very dirty and old. There were bathrobes and slippers, a kettle and tea, the safe deposit was not working, there was an empty mini bar, a TV with only understandable by Korean speakers... The room lightning was poor. WiFi was good.  Breakfast was acceptable, with Korean and western hot and cold options.  The hotel facilities included an ATM, a small convenience store and a large Starbucks.  Far from main attractions of Daegu.  Not recommended.

The room is dark

Perfect location for exploring Daegu, right next to a subway station. Wonderful room, really comfy bed, massive bathroom, with walk in shower and a bath. A lovely comfortable vibe around the hotel.

The location and price are both good. I booked this hotel for my elderly father who was visiting me in Daegu for the first time. I chose this property because it's near to my home. It's conveniently located at Beomeo station with a bus stop just outside the front door and the elevators always worked. There's a small 24/7 unmanned convenience store attached to the lobby with several others just a short walk away. There's a great selection of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very kind whenever my father had an issue during his stay.

The hotel restaurants were rarely open due to private events. My father had breakfast in the hotel his first morning there and it was costly and he reported that the food was cold. He had breakfast at the attached Starbucks for the rest of his stay. He tried to use the ATM in the lobby twice and both times it immediately ate his card and then froze. The hotel staff had to call the ATM company to have them remotely release his card and reboot the machine. Many of the fixtures in the room itself were broken or missing such as shelves and hooks. He also struggled to get out of the shower as it was quite a step over and down from the tub. The carpet also seemed to have not been cleaned in a very long time and his allergies acted up quite a bit while there. Housekeeping was diligent about changing the sheets on the bed every day, though.
