Hotel Paragon

We chose to stay at the Paragon because of its (apparent) close proximity to the airport and to prevent a long drive from Geoje to catch an early morning flight. However, the journey from the hotel to the airport took us 20 mins and the traffic was quite low. Also,be aware that many of the Busan taxis run on LPG and the LPG tanks are in the boot. If you have large or a number of bags this can be an issue. Hotel was OK. Staff were not what you would call welcoming but efficient. Rooms were ordinary but adequate. Only 2 small bottles of water in the mini bar and the TV had no English channels other than BBC news. Breakfast doesn't start until 0700 so a bite before an early flight is a no, no. Also, I believe that room service stops at 2200 hours. There a large bar on the reception level and live music most nights. We ate in the bar which has a good menu but it is expensive for a place such as this. We planned on trying to eat out but there was very little information available on the surrounding eateries, other than in Korean. OK for a short stay but a couple of things to keep in mind.

I selected the hotel based on the review of and the location which is close to the airport as I had to take a flight early in the morning. In the first rooms the carpet, curtains and bathroom were dirty, I took a couple of pictures and showed it the staff of the reception who looked surprised, they changed my room but unfortunately the second room was the dirty as well. They showed me 3 more rooms which were all in the same filthy condition. A suite was offered, which looked at first view more up-to date but the bath and rubber anti slip mat were gross, a bottle from a previous guest was under the bed and a under the cushions of the 3 sofas I could find a layer of dust and crumbs. The hotel is completely outdated and need urgent update, the housekeeping manager should be fired immediately. Frontdesk staff was professional and called his manager to report the issue and proposed an upgrade or to cancel the stay and a refund, it was too late to find another hotel so I decided to stay

Rooms are clean and 100% ok, food is next to nono. Expensive breakfeast with very simple offer. The restaurant has not much choice and service is slow. Restauant staff likes to play with their mobiles.

Great location for this traveling by bus to Gimhae airport.

Room was okay and was serviced daily, however the bed was not that comfy. There are plenty of restaurants and other fun things to do nearby. There is also a bus/subway station within a quick walking distance.

Stayed there for 2 nights. The room was ok. Minibar empty except water. Tv only Korean manual. Staff is friendly when not busy with their mobile phones. Only one empty restaurant open on a Friday. The two present staff did never look if guest needed anything. Mobile phone adicts. For an early check in st 9 a.m. hotel charged 50% of room.

Stayed several times in this hotel whenever we visit Busan.

The location is far from the central area. Counter staff was not flexible, didn't allow us to check-in 2 hrs earlier though we didn't ask to get the room.

The staff spoke minimal English and was rude when asked about early check-in. The walls are super thin and can hear pretty much everything from the other rooms. The hotel itself was not too bad a little old on the outside but the rooms were pretty clean.
