Days Inn by Wyndham Lincoln, IL Route 66

Everything is freshly renovated. It’s clean and looks great! The staff is very helpful and friendly.

They still have a little to finish with renovation, but it didn’t affect us.

This newly renovated Days Inn is exceptional value! This place is fabulous. We stayed in a Queen room with two beds. The room was very clean, beds were clean with fresh sheets and the pillows were comfortable. There is a microwave and mini fridge/ freezer in the room. They have a small desk alcove with a very comfortable office style chair which made doing my laptop work very pleasant. It has all the amenities usually expected in a much higher priced hotel room. Ample phone charger plug ins and outlets right by the bed. A convenient cushioned suitcase shelf. Nice bathroom with separate sink area. Full length mirror in the main room area - very nice. Lovely artwork display behind the beds. The owner was exceptionally accommodating after noticing I was using crutches; he changed our booking to a ground floor room even though it meant he had to spend twenty minutes finishing preparing one of their newly renovated rooms that hadn’t been fully stocked as it wasn’t yet being offered. By the time we arrived back from getting our supper, it was ready. Don’t mind my photo of the bed - I had to pull the sheets back up to take the photo. It was very neatly made when we arrived. 😊 Breakfast was nice. Food was fresh. We stay in a lot of hotels and I have never paid so little for such a great room. Hope I get to come back again one day.

It was on a wonderful location! We had forgot a few things and being able to take a quick five minute trip to Walmart was wonderful! The property itself was very clean and welcoming when you walk in. The staff was incredible! So kind and so helpful! We had even booked a stay for the night prior to checking and because the blizzard we were unable to make the trip and the manager himself chose not to charge us for the first night even though I had not purchased insurance and agreed to the non-refundable payment.
