Very nice stay, we asked for a room on a higher floor and were given an upgrade to a delux room which was much appreciated, lovely comfy bed, excellent bathroom and all the amenities you would want

AULocated conveniently in the centre of town, and a short walk from many of the attractions Cook Town has to offer. The family room was large and clean and comfortably fitted a family of four. Staff were very friendly and engaging and happy to pass on local information. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the resort pool and beautiful oasis to come home to at the end of the day. Would absolutely stay again.
Main concern was that window shutters did not close and several slats were missing. Although were able to change rooms it was at a higher level, closer to main street traffic noise and with a shared ibnstead of personal balcony. Pool, garden areas and dining facilities were excellent. Very central position in the town.

USThere are not a lot of options in Cooktown. This property is the correct choice. The pool is outstanding. the room was large and had everything we needed. Restaurant also was superb, had a great T bone steak on "Tuesday Steak night". There also is RSL across the street.
The Dinner service got very busy because of the downstairs restaurant being closed for a remodel and a bus tour spending the night. We ate at the bar and had a great time. Staff did wonderful job getting everyone fed.
Way overpriced. Should have been a $200 room at the maximum. Fauly re.ote. no staff after 7pm
