Warm and cosy. Had what we needed

A little tired. Needs maintenance in the room- skirting boards etc

Nothing comes to mind.

We were booked in for 2 nights. When we got to our room, it was, dark and dingy. The bathroom light was broken, the bed was really uncomfortable, there may have been better suites than ours but I felt having the word "quality" in the title was grossly over selling the property. Needless to say after one very uncomfortable night we hightailed it out of there and found a better place to stay for our 2nd night in kaikoura.

Lovely place, clean, all the usual things you'd expect - and very friendly, helpful staff

Firstly it cost me around 250 a night for my stay when I looked online for the same dates and same room it was only 200 per night? Is that booking. Com raising the price? I found the room needed an upgrade and not particularly clean. Value for money very poor. I would not recommend it but would advise friends not to stay there
