"One night stay to play golf"

Room 21 was at the back so no road noise

No SKY TV, Not sufficient Airconditioner for cooling especially at night when it was very hot.

"Perfect stay and great place for 2 nights. Shame we didn’t get to see the whales due to weather!"

Location was great as was lady on reception. Very helpful enabled us to store our luggage in the garage and gave us recommendations for where to eat etc although there are loads of places in town. Walking distance to train station along beach path (20 mins) and beyond that into town (25 mins). Disappointed not to see the whales due to weather but hired E bikes and cycled to seal colony beyond the town. Fantastic scenery. Ate crayfish fritter from pop up bbq van, amazing!

"Kaikoura Trip"

1 night in very small, dark,dated room moved to a lovely bright large and greatly equipped room for 2 more nights. Lovely and clean and very comfy beds ,and a super friendly and helpful lady at the front desk , nothing was too much trouble. A little far out of centre but ok with a car , definitely would stay again.

Would have liked to walk to centre with bars, restaurants etc little too far. Good breakfast places in 10 mins walk but nothing decent for dinner had to drive .
