Waves Byron Bay

The room was absolutely lovely very luxurious. Much nicer than I expected.close to everything. Went for my husband’s birthday and the restaurant was literally one street away. The hotel also offered complimentary tea, coffeee, muffins , fruit and juice in the morning a lovely touch.

We was on the ground floor and we was woken by noise , screaming etc several times during the night. Would probably request a different room next time.

Location, ground level room and small courtyard, proximity to beach, car parking (small space but still convenient)

Needs an ice dispenser, and filtered water bottle refill tap, which could be located in a public foyer area, rather than the Staff Room? :)

Walk everywhere, great design, outdoor space to dry swimmers/towels, breakfast coffee & juice, comfortable communal area with games and books.

Body boards broke on use. Suggest getting stronger ones for guests to borrow. Fridge was also leaking a bit.

Room was very spacious, very clean, bright & fresh. No carpet! Carpet in hotels is a big no for me. Huge bed. Generous bathroom. Lovely reception area. Great shared outdoor space which was sheltered. A stones throw from the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. It was in a word Perfect. Could not rate it highly enough. Staff were exceptional and in true Aussie style very friendly. The free coffee, fruit and water is a lovely much appreciated touch.

Nothing not to like. Maybe a pool would have been nice as the sea is very challenging.

Location was perfect. Walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The room was fabulous. Very spacious as was the bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. No carpet which is a bonus for me. Lovely outside area to sit under cover. Felt very private. Complimentary coffee, water and fruit was a lovely touch. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. We extended our stay and they made sure we could stay in the same room. It was so relaxing that we didn't want to leave.

A pool would have been nice as the sea can be a little rough. Too rough to swim. Although it didn't spoil our visit. We absolutely loved it. Nothing not to like.

State suite was a huge space, big bed, 2 sofas, very large balcony area with table and chairs. Bathroom was very nice and everything was very clean. Secure undercover parking and very close to the beach!
