Affordable Suites Charlottesville

Suite layout was nice and it was quite. Suite smelled of smoke and bed was not comfortable.

Site was quiet. Manager was very good but not on site Sat PM or Sun. No linen service but we only stayed two (2) nights so that was not a problem. Site was very clean.

This hotel is close to downtown Charlottesville , Virginia; UVA; Monticello; & Martha Jefferson Hospital.It is within walking distance to 5th St Station Shopping which has stores like Wegman's , Dick's,AC Moore & Pannera Bread. It was very clean.The staff were very polite , friendly , & helpful.There is a separate dining and sleeping area with stove;microwave;refrigerator & cabinets.(If you get tired of eating at restaurants!) There is a laundry facility.A tv in the bedroom & also in the kitchenette/living area.I have stayed here more than once and would go back again.

Had to find the manager to check in and out. Not impressed.

Very spartan. Absolutely no amenities. Not all that clean. Looked a bit shabby around the edges. Looks like some individuals stay there long-term. Certainly not warm & inviting.....it's a place just to sleep.

The only issue I had was a full kitchen with no dishes.

Everything was fine. I knew what to expect so I prepared accordingly. My stay was only for a few nights. For someone who hasn't been there before, however, you should know, that although it says "fully furnished" with kitchen, etc. there is not even a cup, spoon, plate or anything at all. No clothes hangers in the closet. I asked for them when I got there and Ashley (manager) was very helpful and promptly brought me a small supply. The rates are reasonable; however when compared to a hotel rate that would come with amenities, I am not too sure that it is a deal. That may change according to the length of one's stay since I understand there are weekly and monthly rentals also.
