Very clean and comfortable, cozy feeling, nice bed, great amenities. Some mountain views. Good breakfast.

We love the Blue Elk. This is our second stay. It is so relaxing and tucked away. We enjoyed the pool and sauna very much. Our room was cute and clean and quiet. Despite there being kids and dogs as guests in other rooms, we didn't hear them at all.

The morning of our departure was a little noisy with things banging around. We weren't sure if it was other guests coming in and out of their rooms or staff preparing breakfast, but it was difficult to sleep after about 7 a.m. which is a little early for a vacation.

As this was my first visit to Leavenworth, I was unsure of the conditions of the available hotels in the area. We selected Blue Elk Inn due to availability. We had an excellent find. We stayed in one of the ground level rooms with a fenced patio. The unit was immaculate and appeared to be recently updated. Large bathroom with a big walk-in shower. The king sized bed was perfect for my sleeping needs. My sleep score over the 3 night stay was very good. The main area was also warm and inviting with a living room setting. It was like we were staying in someone’s large home.

If anything, the ice maker was on the fritz but staff helped us out by providing ice from the kitchen. So this was a non-issue for us.
