Excellent room. Large. Very clean. Had a balcony plenty of windows. Great bed and classic southwest decor and furniture. Great friendly staff. Hot Breakfast was simple yet outstanding. Hotel is only two blocks from the main square. Easy walk. Safe parking on the property.

Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

We thought we had booked a suite per booking.com. The room was not pleasant. No where to put our suitcases except on the floor. No dresser, nothing to help organize our clothes. Total chaos for five day stay and trying to walk around our suitcases and clothes. With the poor lighting in the room, we had to open the door and window blind to see around the room properly. At night, The tiny refrigerator in the room had a clear glass door with bright light strips shining so bright, we Had to take the bed scarf blanket, off the bed, lay over a chair, then place in front of the refrigerator just so the refrigerator light would not be shining in our eyes as we tried to sleep. Maybe all these issues are fine with some people, but I feel as though we were cheated and misled about our room. We voiced our concerns to the front desk, but were told if we warp leave the property, we would have to go through booking.com to see if they would let us cancel our remaining time scheduled. The internet was so sketchy at the area, my phone would barely connect, so I gave up on trying to contact Booking.com. The Vanessie Inn seem to be very antiquated in their technology. When we checked out on Friday, the front desk was closed at 10:00AM and a sign was posted to call a phone number. Of course I had to leave a message we were checking out. So I was NOT able to get any kind of receipt about charges. The parking arrangements are tight and equipment in the way of parking spaces that were available. I am very disappointed in booking.com and Vanessie Inn. Do not recommend this place to stay.

Did not have breakfast. Location terrible and parking was almost impossible in such close quarters. One car parked in a non-parking spot. It was reported- car was still there when we left.

Living room- lights were not working! Neither television worked. We called front desk / was told they didn’t know anything about that. Said a manager was coming over for another problem and they promised they would come to us. No one came. Shower had hot water but bathroom sink did not. We were in a suite on 2nd floor- no elevator but a stairway that is in need of some work!

I arrived at 10PM advising the staff in advance of my late arrival. No key was left in the dropbox and I had to wait 20 minutes to get into my room. The rooms are very comfortable and esthetically pleasing. But on my return stay I slept with a population of small ants that showed up in various places around the room, most importantly on my bed and pillow during the night.

Great location and good breakfast.

When we checked in Rock music was blaring and hard to hear the young girl checking us in. So first impression wasn;t good. The stairs going up to our room were very steep. Being 81 years old it made it a little rough to bring up our luggage
