"Miserable stay at a two star hotel"

It was late autumn. When we checked in at 5pm, there was not a single hotel staff around. Had to make a phone call to get our room key. Room is poorly heated. Large bathroom but it is very cold without any heating or bathrobes provided. Only one restaurant with a limited menu and mediocre quality.

"Better choice for access to local delights."

We normally stay at the Novotel but opted for Mercure Tanunda for closer proximity to family friendly activities. We are so glad to have made the change. The playground adjacent the sports oval is fabulous and Nosh coffee shop has a kids play nook. Wineries - Whistler and Ubertas were accommodating too. With our AccorALL membership, we were delightfully upgraded to an apartment with some freebie refreshments. All the kids were offered plush toys.
