Haven Marina Motel

It is so rundown and dirty. A lot of broken hand rail. Ceiling in shower just patched up. Carpet disgusting. This place needs a total refit!!!! Months of dust on the walls!!!!!! Every repair is just a very poor patch up.

I love the customer service ladies are always so nice and helpful So quick and easy to check in The bed is always so comfy and clean Shower was amazing Value for money the only place we stay always

The location.

We stayed in the family room, it was so run down that I don’t think it should actually be booked out anymore. The bathroom was dirty (mould) the wardrobe was full of dust and cobwebs.

Some of the lights did not work The toilet was very very slow to refill with water It would be good if they turned on the a/cond before our arrival.

In terms of location this property was perfect, you cross the road straight into the park that overlooks the marina and is a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

For a cost of $180 a night for a twin room I was expecting a bit more. The room we had was very outdated and in need of an uplift. The mattresses were lumpy and you could feel the springs, the walls look like they had started to be repainted but then only half a wall was done, the hot water for the shower was a mere trickle, once the toilet was flushed you could hear the pipes banging for a few minutes whilst the cistern refilled and there was a strange banging noise coming from the walls that would happen periodically throughout the day and night. The room we were given had obviously just had the carpets cleaned (which is a positive) however when we got to the room the door was wide open and obviously still being aired out along with a few other rooms, once we went inside the floor was still slightly damp in a few spots and the cleaning product smell was still strong, it needed another night before use in our opinion.
