Discovery Resorts - Wilpena Pound

The safari tent was a good size, it was clean and had everything we needed. The scenery was spectacular and we were given a great self drive map at reception that took you around the National Park. The staff were friendly, restaurant was ok but the onsite IGA was wellstocked and reasonably priced so didn't need to eat at restaurant.

The location was excellent - walks easily accessible from our cabins, the pool was an amazing amenity in the hot weather, and the xmas buffet lunch was great. All staff were really helpful. The shop had a wide variety of grocery items - and very good coffee.

The fridge in our room was faulty as it did not get cold enough. However, the staff were excellent at problem solving and delivered us a second fridge to have in our room (which worked a treat) :)

The park was beautiful, lovely facilities

The meals are a bit over priced but that's it, there isn't a buffet for brekky is al a carte, but it was lovely

Loved the wildlife, excellent food-though not cheap-facilities were wonderful and had no issues with cleanliness.

Nothing. Maybe wish they had cheaper options for lunch, like pies or pasties. Not their fault, but no phone signal except for telstra.
