Great location, easy to find and staff were very helpful. Magnificent old tree outside. Meals in the restaurant were great

The lack of kitchen equipment was a bit disappointing (toaster, plates, etc)

We stayed in a newly renovated room. Modern, clean and comfortable. Lots of wildlife on the property. Kangaroos, possums and even saw a quoll. Very convenient location. Restaurant was great. Food excellent.

Staff on reception were mostly quite unfriendly. Not welcoming at all. Only exception was the lady on our last morning when we checked out. (Restaurant staff were all great!)

The resort is perfectly situated at the gateway to a unique wilderness space, with great local walks and other local sights to see.

Some more shelters along the walks might be a good idea. I got drenched but loved it anyway.

All round good experience

Wilpena pound is just a beautiful location. I loved the tree outside my door and the beautiful one outside the dining room. The staff were all super nice.

The food offerings for dinner were really mixed. I had a really nice Greek salad one night. But the vegan Buddha bowl was disappointing to say the least. At $38, the most expensive vegetarian meal I've ever had,, consisted of half a cup of steamed rice, some sauteed tomatoes, capsicum and parsley. No protein, no sauce, just very plain. Vegans and vegetarians have the same nutritional needs as everybody else. Tofu, seitan, legumes, seeds and nuts can all be made into tasty and interesting additions to a Buddha bowl. At least that might make $38 kind of worth spending. It would bring the cost of the ingredients up to all of $10.

Notre chambre était confortable et parfaitement située. Elle possédait une table extérieure, dans un décor superbe (chambre 69). Par contre, nous avons repéré qu'il y avait des chambres placées de façon horrible. Les amis avec qui nous étions en ont eu une très désagréable juste sur le parking où tout le monde enregistre. Celles qui sont placées aussi à côté de la laundry ne sont vraiment pas dans un beau décor. La propreté est parfaite. La literie très agréable. Le personnel très agréable, à l'accueul comme au restaurant.

Pas de toaster dans la chambre. Douche mal isolée qui inonde la salle de bain. Repas anormalement prohibitifs. Il faudrait appeler les choses par leur nom : un "foccattia" facturé 19$ n'avait de foccattia que le nom, c'étaient des bouts de pains grillés avec un ramequin d'huile d'huile et quelques graines. Lamentable ! Nous étions 4 â table, 2 Français et 2 Australiens et avons tous été choqués.Pour le reste, nous avons trouvé que le tarif des repas était surévalué. Il faudrait revoir ça sérieusement.
