NRMA Angourie Resort, Yamba

- room we were allocated was opposite the bin service cleaning area...not pleasant - very tired, worn and neglected accommodation, light fixtures missing, fan noisy, kitchen fixtures (oven, dishwasher unclean) - unfortunately the quality of the accommodation definitely did not reflect the rate been charged....hence we decided to forfeit our second night's stay.

Great size villas, compatible to two families. Comfortable and clean.

Breakfast was a let down not worth the $. Play ground could do with more variety and more for young toddlers.

Arrived late, so didn’t see much.

The room was FILLED with ants, under our pillow, on the kitchen counter, in the bath, on the carpet. Cobwebs around the plug sockets, on the curtains. The ants actually got in our bags which we realised when we arrive at our next hotel. It has been such an issue trying to get rid of them. WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN!!!

Very smart apartment, in a lovely holiday resort. Clean, comfortable and well furnished and maintained. Shame we couldn’t stay for longer.

Spacious for 5 adults - lively surrounds and quiet.

Loved the location and pool size for the kids The restaurant on site is gorgeous inside and handy but should have cheaper pub food as no one eats there it's a ghost town every night during school holidays which was ludacris. Pool table inside bar/restaurant was a lifesaver for teenage kids. Great pool side pop up bar and music gave a bit of a vibe during the day. Tennis court handy but again those march flies were constantly attacking us even with a ton of insect repellant.

It should be advertised as a caravan park rather than a resort and expectations would be realistic. Tons of mozzies Tons of march flies in all the yukka trees so we can't even relax by the pool without swatting all our legs. rooms smell like mould and are tidy but not overly clean. Slightly sticky tiles on the floor and carpet gets dirty easily, no room keeping while we were there just fresh towels so it was quite dirty and uncomfortable at the end of our stay. The whole place is run down and looks very sad upon arrival, it's just drab and needs a really good paint inside and out and a lot of clean up and maintenance around the place sadly.
