"Cozy, different and relaxing."

The rooms were comfy and furnishings olde worlde style which was a lovely change to a modern hotel. Code doors easy to navigate and everything worked well. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Parking convenient close to rooms was ideal. I will stay there again and would recommend to others.

No biscuits with the tea in the rooms (my mother!) lol.

We were very impressed when we received an SMS telling us our room was ready well before the normal 2.00pm check in time. The staff who were great explained that many guests are in town earlier than 2 pm and just wander around until then. A really thoughtful idea

Historic atmosphere.

Steep and narrow stairway made access by elderly people very difficult. That was expected in an old property
