The location was good, ambiemce outdoor forest and wild life good

The O.H & S highrisk climb up 45 degree apprx gradient of 13 step climb to sleeping loft presents a significant High risk to sustaining a servere jnjury The front entry door platform is approx 90cm. The ftont door opens L to R toward the guest. No handrails is installed. Risk of fall at this location Medium to High risk. The Microwave oven is poorly located near the floor to right of sink near bathroom entry that makes seeing the operating setting difficult The outdoor chairs were weathered and need cleaning. The shower/toiet windown area requires clesning The O.H & S issues shoud be considered by older guests or children before booking the beacjh shack acvommodation. Had we been aware of the potential to serious injury especially during night hours we would not have book this accommodation

Staff were exceptional! Gave me excellent information and details of places to see, best places to eat etc.

Absolutely hands down awsome staff , very nice little shack ,me and my partner felt more than welcome , I did a complimentary air-conditioning clean as I am a certified air conditioning/refrigeration tech to say thank u for out very welcoming stay and unwind

Location and facilities were great

Shower in my bedroom was bloody awful almost useless

The staff was amazing! They gave us a complementary early check in

It would be great to provide things such as salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen

We found the villa to be a great size and well appointed, it was ideal for being away with a young child. Close by to cafes and restaurants as well as beaches.

The location was very convenient, the bus stopped right outside the premises. On-site parking for your own vehicles is also a bonus if you are driving. The resort is approximately a ten minute walk (or two minute bus ride) to Cylinder Beach and the Straddie Hotel for a drink and dinner. The shack itself was very clean, comfortable and private with the required amenities. They do provide only one towel per guest, so please keep that in mind. You can pay for extra towels but may be easier to bring your own extra beach towel. The shack was a great size for two people to move around comfortably and not feel cramped. Aircons and fans definitely helped during the hot days. The showers were slightly dated but still very clean and the water pressure was good. I recommend requesting a shack towards the back of the premises (away from the main road). Our shack was positioned perfectly and we could even see the kangaroos. The pool was also great. The staff working at reception were very friendly and helpful and very accommodating to our requests and queries. I definitely recommend this resort and would love to return for another stay.
