Excellent location close to beach, cafe, bowls club, Sunday merkets and Straddie Hotel.Beach shack was very comfortable for a week stay. Had everything we need. Staff were fabulous - nothing was an issue (including dealing with an emergency lock out on Christmas day!). Very relaxing with deck overlooking trees/bush.

The location . The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The shack was lovely and clean but needs a bit of TLC as it is very tired inside . Having a washing machine was great . The bed was very comfortable! The aircon worked perfectly.

The fact people can walk past and look straight into your living area and toilet/ bathroom. Had to keep the curtains pulled for privacy. The deck offered zero privacy and we would sit and eat our breakfast or evening meal with families constantly walking past and looking at us . Ok most were friendly and would say hello but some were just groups of teens wandering around with beers and giving you a dirty look. If we stayed there again we would request a shack that backs into the bush area. The fridge in our shack was so old and noisey all night. The shelving on the inside of the door was all missing or broken and our food all froze on the first night which was annoying .

The beach shacks are ideal for a couple or a family with two smaller kids. Quite location that is still close to home beach and to the very enjoyable Mexican restaurant.

Bathroom could do with a better insulated roof as it turns into a sauna in summer..

Wonderful location, the beach shack was spatious enough had a full small kitchen and also a bedroom on level 2.

Super cozy and fully equipped if you want to cook. Every single detail was clearly taken into consideration to make it easier for travelers. Very clean and super comfortable! It was a delightful surprise to get up in the morning and seeing two adult kangaroos sleeping right in front of the porch!
