The Abode is walking distance from the large shopping centre and the Southern Cross Club in Tuggeranong. The bed was comfortable, the hot water was hot and the linen was very clean. However, repairs need to be made to the curtains - they were difficult to open and close and they needed help (a peg) to make them meet in the middle. There were stains on the carpet that should have been removed by the cleaners. There was a kettle in the room and the ingredients to make tea or coffee but as there was no meal service it would have been appreciated if we could have had a toaster in the room. It was very quiet.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service and this is disappointing although there are other options close by. I was annoyed that we were expected to pay $8 to park in the large car park at the back of the property. It was not covered, nor even very secure.

A good budget hotel. Disappointed no breakfast served.ok for 2 nights. Parking good.
