Oasis Inn Cairns

The properly needs updating and repairs, over priced for what you get and what it looks like/condition. Mike the property care taker was awesome and helped the stay worth while and made it easier to over look the disappointments of conditions.

Old property need refurbishing. Mike (property Manager) was very helpful.

Stayed 6 nights and good budget value. Easy transport in to Cairns CBD and northern beaches. Sufficient shops, restaurants & hotels close by. Staff & owner are friendly. Unfortunately rained most days so would have liked more variety on TV such as Austar which was promoted but not available or Fox. Overall a comfortable experience.

Comfortable, good security. Easy access to city by bus or walking and to the northern beaches by bus. And a pool if the beach is not for you. Extremely helpful staff, I’d be very happy to stay there again.

The location is very good and staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Run down and tired. Receptionist smelt like booze on checkin

Bit noisy at night but its on a main arterial road so I guess that is to be expected. Good parking security. Older style building but quite comfortable.

Four of us stayed 3 nights at the Oasis Inn. We did not spend much time there because we went exploring in the rainforest and reef. The time that we did spend sleeping and coming in and out, we felt safe and slept well. The staff at the hotel was very nice and allowed us to keep our luggage there while we explored on our last day in Cairns.

Very affordable given the short notice of the booking at peak season
