Le Way Resort

Y avons passé quatre jours et avons adoré cet endroit. Ambiance de chambre d'hôte plutôt que d'hôtel, la décoration et les bungalows sont magnifiques. La piscine agréable (n'avons pas testé la mer car trop de vent, attention la mer est plus proche de l'atlantique que des caraïbes et risque de méduses). Plage très belle et quasi déserte. Prêt de vélo - possibilité d'aller jusqu'au bout de la baie des Dauphins. Cuisine excellente, seul bémol le service un peu trop hésitant.

First of all this hotel is located in Pranburi, and Hua Hin is almost a 45 min drive .. so the name might be a bit deceiving. We booked the Thai villa (for 4 people) for 2 nights and surprisingly it was as nice as as in the pictures! The reception was not exceptional, and we actually had to search for the staff to check in .. as this is a hotel with only 7 rooms and managed by 3 staff members (there was 2 other booked rooms). Another worthy point to mention: this hotel seems to have a chronic problem with hot water (as mentioned in other reviews) .. as both of our rooms did not have hot water, luckily the staff was fast to fix this and i managed to enjoy the open sky bathtub ... really nice! Apart from this .. i only had the brightest memories .. the Thai villa was simply amazing! The rooms, the terrace, and the bathrooms all add to the nice experience. The salt-water pool is best enjoyed after the breakfast to get ready for the day, and btw the breakfast was good with enough variety. Additionally, the hotel provides free bikes .. these do come handy to explore around. As a tip for the beach lovers .. the beach is much nicer north of the Thaao Ko Sa Forest park. The beach for the Away resort is mostly a shell based one, and thus not as comfortable as the sandy beaches. PS: the area is undergoing a major infrastructure overhaul, so the sea-side road leading to the hotel is under construction.

這間resort還境尚算不錯。好有Thai feel。離市中心較遠。熱水不夠。

Wasn't what we expected from 3 star boutique hotel. We got in at 9 in the night, the place didn't even have a checkin counter. The security guard gave us a key to the room. The food was nice, the staff very helpful, the saltwater pool was great.. The place or the room is quite bad for a 130usd per night I was paying. More of a guest house, with hardly anyone else staying in the hotel.anyway it has only 7 rooms/chalets. The coffee place down the road was excellent. The lady running the place such a sweet and helpful person. Getting to the place from hua hin bus stop was scary in the night with an unknown taxi guy, since the roads are dark and goes through something like a jungle.

it was a pleasant stay in Away Resort, and it's really far away from anywhere you'd like to go in Hua Hin. We booked the thai house which was quite big, 2 bedrooms and both rooms are clean and comfy. the resort is located on the country side so you might have to expect a few bugs in your room. There's nowhere we could explore next to the resort location, so we mainly stayed in. A small-sized swimming pool is available, you could also borrow the bikes from the hotel and go for a ride. Other than that, you're pretty much stuck. However, the thai menu was amazingly good, they made really great thai food!
