Beach Club

Fantastic hotel directly at the beautiful with sand beach. The hotel has a nice pool, comfortable rooms, and wallabies skipping by in the gardens. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is tasty, and the restaurant is amazing. We loved that they offer a car service to bring/ collect you wherever you like to go on the island and also arranged the transfers to and from the airport. The rooms are lovely and well equipped. We loved sitting on our terras having a drink or breakfast. When we arrived at our room there was a lovely cold bottle of bubbly waiting for us with a friendly note congratulating us on our. A very nice gesture, which we appreciated.

Great location, adults only, restaurant was nice

The location of the Beach Club was amazing, directly on the beach front. The staff were very friendly, dressed well, well mannered and helpful. Breakfast in the Dining Room was included as part of the daily rate. Use of non-motorised water craft was also included and sailing one of the catamarans was a highlight. The bath was large and relaxing.

The room smelt of mould, when we first entered it after being closed up during the day, even though the air conditioning ran 24/7. The replenishment of complimentary consumables was inconsistent, but I was given what I needed, when I asked though. A microwave in the room would have been helpful.

Having stayed 4 nights at the Beach Club in May 2025, we found it to be a haven of luxury, with charming and helpful staff, excellent service and spotless rooms. We ate in several of the Island’s 'best' restaurants and found the Beach Club restaurant to be by far the best. Just try their lamb :-) The pool and the beach were quiet with over half the loungers in both areas always free when we stayed, and the staff kept us topped-up with whatever we wanted - cocktails. The bar was well designed with half facing inwards towards the lovely lounge area and the other half facing outwards to the infinity pool. The bar staff made us fresh tea in a tea pot, or barrister coffee and brought it to us wherever we were, whenever we wanted – all complimentary.

The service at the beach club was outstanding - we were met at the airport, checked into the resort quickly and easily and our room was fabulous. Their drop off/pick up service around the island made getting everywhere quick and easy. It is an outstanding place to stay!

Our experience at the Beach Club Restaurant was incredibly disappointing and left a sour taste on what was meant to be the perfect end to our Hamilton Island holiday. We had reserved a beautiful three-course meal for our final evening, excited for a special night out. One of our guests arrived in a stunning dress, fully dressed up for the occasion—including a pair of kitten heels, a popular and elegant footwear choice. These exact shoes had been worn to other fine dining establishments on the island without issue. Despite this, we were walked through the restaurant only to be turned away at the last minute due to the kitten heels, with staff insisting they didn’t meet the dress code. The most insulting part was being told that our guest could return wearing sneakers instead—something that felt both absurd and humiliating given how beautifully she was dressed. To make matters worse, the restaurant was nearly empty, and the enforcement of this rule felt arbitrary and incredibly judgy. We were left embarrassed, upset, and disappointed—especially on a night that was meant to be celebratory. This kind of rigid and selective approach to guest service is not what you’d expect from a venue marketing itself as a premium dining destination. We sincerely hope the Beach Club reconsiders how it treats its guests in the future.

Staff terrible, worst value for money, room smelt

Nice property in a great location. Staff and service (including attention to small issues) excellent and restaurant very good... But this property is now feeling its age. No sense of arrival and exterior, overall presentation and furnishings needing a refresh... Room servicing okay (just) but pretty perfunctory and 'guest experience' not what it used to be. Been here 4 times over recent years and the guest experience is sliding... particularly at the room rate.
