Residence Le Domaine du Mont - Vacancéole

This hotel is like a little apartment complex (in fact, I think you can book furnished apartments) but they have single rooms as well. It was nicer than I expected from the outside. They also have a pool and sauna but I didn't use either. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is also only about 15 minutes drive from Mont St. Michel. I would say the only drawback is there is not a lot close by for activity - there are a couple of restaurants in driving distance but that seemed to be all.

One night stay. After hours check-in was made easy by the use of a lock box. Room was clean and well maintained. Residence is located close to the Mont Saint Michel (5 minutes car drive), and therefore perfect for a visit in the early morning.

The road noise was already loud enough but the Cabaret bar across the street was loud until the late, late night. Beds uncomfortable and rooms hot. Would NOT recommend!

Straightforward apartment style hotel perfect for 2 people with car. Wifi is great.

I reserved a room and requested late check-in. My reservation specifically says "LATE CHECK-IN GARAUNTEED!" By the time we arrived at the hotel (which is just a bunch of dorm rooms) around 7:30 or 8pm, the hotel was locked and no one was there. I was shocked! I was still charged of course. Total scam! I would advise anyone to stay here. There are better accomodations in the area.
