Hotel Airport Residency

Located off a busy motorway/dual carriageway we then entered a dark and dismal area and the hotel was surprisingly located in this quiet area...I was traveling at night on my own in a hotel taxi so was a bit afraid. Reached hotel and was given the third degree as usual protocol; about my stay and entry into the country...and the man could not tell the difference between England and Ireland (thought UK was Ireland???). Anyway they were very efficient...went to my room and it was fine but sockets were dodgy and there was emerging damp from the adjoining bathroom into the bedroom. The bathroom could've done with a thorough steam clean. It was fine for a 12 hour overnight stay in readiness for my flight the next day but that it was it. Breakfast very basic so don't expect much. The hotel had clearly been something in its hey day but needs renovation and cleaning

Soundproof rooms are effective in eliminating runway noise. Staff friendly, room clean and functional. Breakfast nice and efficient. My taxi driver could not find the hotel in the dark and there were no visible signs to indicate it but we eventually found after searching one hour by asking door to door.

Right next to runway, but sound proof and got a great night sleep in comfortable clean room. Didnt have a sign in front and reception didnt answer phone so taxi spent extra half hour finding the hotel. 500 Rupees on visa card to hotel covered taxi back to airport.

Average hotel for convenient night before an early flight

Close to airport but the wedding decor/service items from 5 days prior still had not been cleared away on our arrival. Room wasn’t the worst but definitely not “nice”. Bathroom functioned but not the cleanest...

Food was not good. Options were limited for breakfast. However, rooms were reasonable good.

Short staff at reception took 30 mins to check in, the mattress laying on the walkway to room felt like really dodgy kind of hotel. Rooms was ok but old furniture. Tried to order food via room line but no answer twice then finally they answered and said they will call back! Didn’t get any call back for 30 minutes and kitchen was going to shut in next 7 minutes so i have to go and place order at reception desk which took very long.

Staff was very friendly but we were having difficulties ordering food in room. We were refused to serve coffee in room and food only by certain time of the day you can order in room. Wifi is terrible. I needed to stay connected back but wifi didn’t wioek last two days at all. First two days our air conditioning was not cooling our room. We complained about it. Nothing made to feel better. Then we complained again next day then they loosened the control from wherever they control in from. Basically the thermostat in your room doesn’t do anything for you. It’s being controlled by the staff. I was disappointed by thwn not being able to fix the problems we complained about. I will not choose this hotel again.

The hotel was OK for the money, however, not very organised. They initially told me there was no booking for me but after a search of emails found my booking. Unlike what is advertised in Hotels.com, neither they have a courtesy bus to airport. (You need to take a taxi for both pickup and drop,) nor is it 1.7 miles to airport (It's like 5 miles). Breakfast does not start till 7:30am.
